Job summary

Navy Federal Credit Union's Internal Audit team invites an IT Auditor II to join a transformative function focused on risk-based advisory work across IT controls, security, and system implementations. You will test controls, assess design adequacy, and partner with project teams to ensure go-live readiness.

You will work across pre-implementation reviews, collaborate with audit stakeholders, and help advance data analytics use to deepen risk coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of IT audit experience.
• Working knowledge of IT control concepts and risk-based auditing.
• Experience with IT risk, general controls and information security frameworks.
• Strong communication, organizational and time-management skills.
• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-implementation reviews of new and changing technology to evaluate risks and design adequacy.
• Test IT controls and assist in multiple engagements with documentation of results.
• Identify risks, coordinate with stakeholders, and support go-live readiness.
• Promote data analytics usage to expand risk coverage and drive insights for partners.
• Maintain awareness of evolving industry trends and regulatory requirements.
