Job summary

Bank of China Limited, New York Branch is seeking an experienced IT Audit AVP to assist the Team Lead with oversight, design and execution of the IT audit program. Responsibilities include risk assessment, testing, and follow-up on control issues across IT systems, applications and operations.

The role requires deep IT lifecycle expertise, familiarity with FFIEC, COSO, COBIT, ISO controls, and the ability to develop staff and coordinate with data analysis teams for continuous monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT risk/audit on IT infrastructure, applications and systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute IT and data quality audit programs.
• Review auditor work papers for sufficiency in planning and fieldwork.
• Coordinate with Data Analysis Team for continuous monitoring during integrated audits.
• Evaluate management action plans and ensure issues are addressed.
• Follow up with stakeholders to ensure effective resolution of control issues.
• Provide coaching and act as SME on IT risks and audit procedures.
