Associate Solutions Developer

Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs and develop technical solutions.
• Write, modify, troubleshoot, and maintain custom code that complies with coding standards and policies.
• Ensure proper version control, documentation, quality assurance, change management, software lifecycle, and testing.
• Apply best practices for security, scalability, performance, automation, and monitoring.
• Assist in integrating with third‑party applications.
• Provide technical support and training to users, including ad‑hoc reports.
• Serve as a system administrator as needed.
• Track and report workload status, time spent on tickets, and billing.
• Maintain and further relevant skills and professional knowledge.
• Communicate progress, timelines, and roadblocks to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• College degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience in computer programming, information technology, and SQL database development.
• FLSA status: Scanning (Non‑exempt).
• Proficiency with version control, documentation, QA, change management, and testing.
• Strong communication, database technologies, attention to detail, flexibility, interpersonal relationships, Microsoft applications, operating office equipment, mentoring, and programming languages.
• Experience in automating, monitoring, security, scalability, and performance.
• Must be a born‑again Christian and wish to train young people based on biblical values, in alignment with Pensacola Christian College’s mission and doctrinal position.
