Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in ITAD, enterprise IT hardware, computer repair, electronics, e-commerce, or related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise IT hardware and ability to identify equipment by manufacturer, model, generation, configuration, and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, internet research, and computer-based inventory or listing systems.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming IT equipment by inspecting cosmetic condition, completeness, and overall grade.
• Identify high-value assets and components to maximize resale opportunities.
• Assess hardware specifications, configurations, and value to determine testing, refurbishment, or sales path.
• Apply company cutlines and technical expertise to route assets for testing, refurbishment, resale, or recycling.
• Proactively review incoming pallets to identify equipment with strong resale potential.
• Research market pricing and create compelling product titles and descriptions for online marketplaces.
• Photograph products and create listings that reflect specifications and condition.
• Enter accurate product information into inventory management and listing software.
• Verify product specifications, serial numbers, configurations, and accessories before publication.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure efficient movement.

Position Summary

The E-commerce Lister plays a critical role in maximizing the resale value of enterprise IT assets by identifying, evaluating, researching, and preparing equipment for online sale. This position combines hands-on hardware evaluation with market research, product photography, inventory management, and online listing creation.

Working in both the warehouse and office, the E-commerce Lister evaluates enterprise IT equipment, determines the optimal resale strategy, and creates accurate, professional online listings that maximize asset value.

What You Will Do:

Asset Evaluation and Triage

• Triage incoming IT equipment by inspecting cosmetic condition, completeness, and overall grade.
• Identify and evaluate high-value enterprise IT assets and components to maximize resale opportunities.
• Assess hardware specifications, configurations, generations, and component value to determine the most profitable testing, refurbishment, or sales path.
• Apply company cutlines and technical expertise to route assets for testing, refurbishment, resale, or recycling.
• Proactively review incoming pallets to identify equipment with strong resale potential.

E-commerce Listing

• Research current market pricing and competitive listings for enterprise IT equipment.
• Create accurate, compelling product titles and descriptions for online marketplaces.
• Photograph products to accurately capture their condition, features, and any imperfections.
• Create listings that accurately represent each product's specifications, configuration, and condition.

Inventory Management

• Enter accurate product information into inventory management and listing software.
• Verify product specifications, serial numbers, configurations, and accessories before publication.
• Maintain accurate inventory records throughout the listing process.
• Collaborate with warehouse and ITAD operations teams to ensure inventory moves efficiently through the resale process.
• Stay current on enterprise hardware trends, product generations, and market values.
• Identify opportunities to improve listing quality, pricing strategies, and operational efficiency.
• Support departmental goals focused on maximizing asset recovery and resale revenue.

What You’ll Bring :

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience evaluating and listing enterprise IT equipment for resale through eBay, Amazon, Shopify, or other online marketplaces.
• Familiarity with current enterprise hardware trends, product generations, and market values.
• Experience with inventory management or ERP systems.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant technical experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
• Frequently bend, reach, and lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in both warehouse and office settings.
