Job Summary

Responsible for the analytics function within the IT department, overseeing the development and implementation of data analytics strategies, tools and technologies within the IT organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee the collection, processing, and analysis of IT data to identify trends, inefficiencies and opportunities for cost reduction, improved performance and service reliability.
  • Develop and maintain executive‑level dashboards, performance metrics and reports to monitor key IT services, infrastructure health, security and system performance.
  • Collaborate with IT management and other departments to ensure data‑driven insights align with business objectives and inform strategic decisions.
  • Integrate Artificial Intelligence to optimize and innovate data analytics processes.
  • Perform root cause analysis for recurring IT issues, service disruptions and other operational challenges.
  • Implement advanced analytics techniques, such as predictive analytics and machine learning models, to forecast IT needs and enhance proactive problem‑solving.
  • Ensure the data governance framework is adhered to, maintaining data quality, security and compliance.
  • Manage the integration of new analytics tools, platforms and technologies to improve reporting capabilities and IT service management.
  • Communicate complex data insights and technical findings in a clear, actionable manner to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, including leadership.
  • Work with IT teams to improve system performance based on data insights and guide decision‑making around resource allocation and capacity planning.
  • Monitor industry trends in IT analytics and apply best practices to enhance the organization’s analytics capabilities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced knowledge of data analytics tools, trends and capabilities.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and its integration into data analytics processes.
  • Advanced knowledge of self‑service reporting tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of data structures, database management and data governance principles.
  • Intermediate knowledge of SAP reporting and transactional applications.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to absorb and guide new cloud functions including Snowflake, Azure Data Factory and PowerBI.
  • Ability to lead and motivate others.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a highly creative, driven manner.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new work structures, environments and processes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.

  • Must report any potential hazards that cannot be immediately remedied to a supervisor.
Education, Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and six or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy.
