This role involves identifying business risk management issues, performing IT audits, and advising clients on compliance efforts including HIPAA and NIST. Formación

Overview

PYA is seeking an IT Advisory and Consulting (ITAC) Senior Consultant to join its high-performing and privately-owned firm with a dynamic culture and a strong national reputation. This individual will be a member of the Technology program supporting PYA’s Consulting Department.

Responsibilities

• Apply current IT knowledge of trends to identify business risk management issues and other opportunities for improvement
• Perform IT general control reviews and audits, and assist with detailed system walk-throughs
• Help clients to plan and manage the selection and implementation of new IT solutions
• Advise PYA clients on Information Technology compliance efforts, including but not limited to HIPAA, NIST and SOC engagements
• Assist PYA with other engagements serving as a trusted advisor to PYA clients

Qualifications

• IT, internal audit, or risk advisory internship experience with a national or regional public accounting and/or consulting firm preferred
• Outstanding written and oral communications skills, including advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills
• Creative problem-solving skills with a high level of strategic, analytical, and conceptual skills with a passion for helping clients
• Demonstrated experience self-reviewing work product and exhibiting attention to detail
• Willingness to travel for client projects and development opportunities
