Penn State University’s College of Information Sciences and Technology seeks student assistants enrolled in IST to support courses (A-I, CYBER, DS, EA, ETI, IEC, HCDD, IST, or SRA) for Fall 2025–Spring 2026. Assistants work with instructors, support in-class activities, software or virtual labs, provide feedback, and help with grading.

This is an hourly paid position; remote and hybrid work is not guaranteed regardless of work location.

• Assistants are responsible for assisting with in-class activities, specialized software or virtual labs, feedback on writing, grading (assuming a rubric), out-of-class tutoring, and other learning-focused responsibilities.
