Job summary

Saliense is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support cybersecurity for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). You will collaborate with developers, engineers, program managers, system owners, and other stakeholders to assess and strengthen the security of drone platforms, ground control stations, communications, supporting infrastructure, and associated applications.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years federal information systems security experience.
BS/BA in a technology-related field.
Experience with RMF, NIST CSF, and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
Ability to collaborate with developers, engineers, managers and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Conduct cybersecurity assessments of UAS platforms and related systems to identify risks.
Perform vulnerability and risk assessments across hardware, software, and networks.
Evaluate protection of data in transit and at rest across command and control channels.
Develop assessment reports, POA&M findings, and remediation recommendations.
