Job summary

X-Bow Systems in Huntsville seeks a mid-level Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) with 3–5 years of experience to join the security team. You will ensure the security posture of information systems, drive compliance with standards, perform risk assessments and support incident response efforts.

Responsibilities include maintaining SSPs, managing POA&Ms in eMass, monitoring access, and coordinating vulnerability scans. A Secret clearance and relevant degree are required.

Qualifications

• Active Secret US Government clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 3–5 years of direct information security experience (ISSO, Security Analyst or Security Administrator).

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with information security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Coordinate risk and vulnerability management, ensure timely patching and remediation.
• Update System Security Plans (SSP), track POA&Ms, and maintain security docs in eMass.
• Monitor access controls, perform reviews, and audit logs for policy violations.
• Assist Incident Response during security incidents and document breaches.
