Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation seeks an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support the Air Force Intranet Control III at Maxwell AFB/Gunter Annex. The role requires RMF-based security analysis, ATO maintenance, and oversight of secure system deployments in a high‑security environment.

You will lead risk assessments, craft security documentation, and coordinate incident response while interacting with stakeholders across the program and enterprise.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a cyber security or information assurance role.
• Must hold one of the IAM certifications listed (Security+, CASP+/SecurityX, CCISO, CCSP, Cloud+, GSEC, SSCP).
• Must hold one of the certifications CGRC, CCNA, or Microsoft ISA Associate.
• Experience with RMF/NIST SP 800 series and DoD cybersecurity policies.
• US citizen with current TS/SCI clearance; able to obtain required authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Perform security analysis of environments, threats, vulnerabilities and interfaces to ensure RMF compliance.
• Maintain ATO and ATC, implement corrective actions from POA&Ms.
• Develop MOUs, ISAs and Risk Acceptance Letters.
• Create ISCM strategy and monitor changes to maintain compliance.
• Audit systems to ensure security posture integrity.
• Conduct risk assessments, coordinate incident response, and document results.
• Conduct periodic hardware/software inventory assessments.
• Supervise development and deployment of program information security for all systems.
• Manage RMF-related activities and coordinate security assessments and audits.
• Prepare, review, and present technical security reports and briefings.
• Register and manage PPS exemptions and perform vulnerability management tasks.
