Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) 2 to support information assurance, cybersecurity operations, security authorization, configuration management, and documentation for information systems.

You will prepare System Security Plans, Risk Assessment Reports, Certification & Accreditation packages, and SRTMs to ensure compliance with NIST RMF, ODNI/DoD policies, and DoD security controls. You may mentor junior ISSOs and coordinate with the ISSM and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT or cybersecurity with an applicable education/experience pathway.
• Experience in at least two areas: security tools, hardware/software security, protocols, or encryption.
• Familiarity with security products, authorization techniques, incident management, PKI and authorization services.

Responsibilities

• Support information assurance program for a program, organization, or enclave.
• Propose and enforce information systems security policies and standards.
• Maintain operational security posture and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Assist with configuration management for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Prepare SSPs, Risk Assessment Reports, Certification & Accreditation packages, and SRTMs.
• Support RMF-based security authorization activities.
