Job summary

Torch Technologies, an employee-owned defense contractor, seeks an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for on-site work at Eglin AFB, FL. You will protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of classified information systems and implement robust security controls for Air Force networks.

Ideal candidates hold a DoW 8140 qualification, an active Secret clearance, a Bachelor's/Master's degree, and 3+ years of cybersecurity experience; you will develop SOPs/SSPs, perform

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in an applicable discipline; other degrees with relevant experience may be substituted.
• DoW 8140 Cyber Workforce Qualification (i.e., Security+) required.
• Knowledge and expertise in Cybersecurity requirements, network technologies, and DoW networks.
• Experience developing SOPs and SSPs.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience performing all functions.
• Active Secret Security Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of classified Information Systems (IS) and data using Air Force-approved practices and standards.
• Independently provide cybersecurity support for test area systems, including real-time computers, standalone systems, and networked systems.
• Develop, maintain, and revise SOPs, SSPs, and ATO documentation.
• Perform security scans using DISA STIGs to ensure compliant security settings and patch levels.
• Support ISSM duties and act as ISSM when needed.
