Job summary

Rothe Development Inc. seeks a senior Cybersecurity Engineer to serve as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for the NASA eMITS contract, supporting NASA OCIO and OCMM. This is an onsite role located in Huntsville, AL, with travel to NASA Centers as needed.

The candidate will develop IT security plans, perform A&A guidance, monitor controls, and ensure compliance with NIST standards in a DoD/NASA environment, requiring 10+ years of experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT security plan development, audits, assessments, and compliance.
• Familiarity with NASA RISCS tool.
• Ability to report on regulatory compliance and plan status.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of IT systems under the eMITS contract.
• Provide guidance through the A&A process and document procedures.
• Monitor security controls to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Prepare risk assessments, backup procedures, and incident documentation.
