A leading healthcare organization located in Melbourne, FL is actively seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE). The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions to protect information systems, alongside ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, at least 3 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, and be familiar with cybersecurity frameworks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, and relevant certifications such as CISSP are preferred.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in information systems security engineering or a related cybersecurity role.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST SP 800-53, RMF, and FISMA.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Security+ are highly desirable.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement security architectures and engineering solutions for information systems.
Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify security gaps and recommend mitigations.
Collaborate with system engineers, developers, and stakeholders to integrate security controls throughout the system development lifecycle.
Prepare and review security documentation including System Security Plans, Security Assessment Reports, and Plans of Action and Milestones.
