Job summary

Red Peak Technical Services, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia division (NSWCPD). This position will support cybersecurity compliance, system security engineering, risk management framework activities, and technical documentation efforts for mission critical Department of Defense systems.

This position is ideal for a cybersecurity professional with experience supporting DOD

Qualifications

High school diploma or HS equivalency with 2–5 years in Cybersecurity/Engineering/TA or A&A-related fields.
Experience with Information Assurance tools like eMASS and ACAS.
Current DoD IAM certification and ability to maintain DoD 8570 compliance.
IAT Level II certification per DoD 8570.1M.
Security+ or equivalent baseline certification.
Experience supporting RMF, NIST, and DoD cybersecurity activities.
Familiarity with vulnerability management tools and security hardening practices.
Active DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

Support system authorization and RMF compliance throughout the lifecycle.
Implement and assess security controls per DoD and NIST requirements.
Conduct security reviews, vulnerability assessments, and audit log analysis.
Collaborate with engineers, developers, and program managers for secure system design.
Develop and maintain security documentation including security plans and reports.
Support certification, testing, and accreditation activities for information systems.
Provide technical recommendations and briefings to leadership.
