Job summary

North American Coating Laboratories (NACL) seeks an ISO & Quality Management Systems Specialist to lead, implement, and continually improve our QMS in line with ISO 9001:2026 and CMMC requirements. You will oversee audits, drive corrective actions, and ensure product and process conformity across the organization.

The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, with strong root-cause analysis skills, excellent communication, and a track record of maintaining certifications across multiple departments.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in quality management or quality engineering.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 / ISO 9001:2026 and QMS platforms.
• Knowledge of CMMC cybersecurity requirements beneficial.
• Experience with internal auditing and root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant quality certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains corporate-wide compliance with ISO, ITAR, CMMC and other applicable certifications.
• Plans, schedules, and conducts internal audits across all departments.
• Handles production quality issues including RMAs and customer correspondence.
• Serves as the primary contact for third‑party ISO auditors and customer audits.
• Tracks audit findings, assigns corrective actions, and verifies effectiveness.
• Coordinatess with the registrar regarding certification and ongoing surveillance audits.
• Promotes a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

As the ISO & Quality Management Systems Specialist, you will lead the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of our Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001:2026 and ensure that all processes and data handling meet CMMC cybersecurity requirements.
