Job summary

Tommy Bahama in Palm Desert, CA is seeking an Island Guide to greet guests, share knowledge of menus and cocktails, and deliver warm hospitality in a full-service restaurant. You will manage cash handling, maintain standards, and support the team while upholding food safety and service excellence.

Minimum 1+ year experience, food handler card, alcohol service certification, and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of serving or related experience in a full service restaurant.
• Current food handler’s card and alcohol service certification as required by federal/state/local law.
• Minimum age for preparing and serving alcoholic beverages
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service/hospitality
• Excellent guest service skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Willingness to perform other duties as required that are necessary to support the business
