Job summary

Tosoh Bioscience, Inc. in the United States seeks an ISC Technician to support repair and remanufacture of Tosoh instrumentation in a shop environment under the Production Manager.

You will follow FDA/ISO quality controls, document actions meticulously, and collaborate with Field Service to resolve issues. The role requires problem-solving, soldering, and reading schematics; occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Must have Associate's degree or equivalent electronics education/experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Able to read/interpret electronic schematics, fluidic diagrams and mechanical drawings.
  • Proficient soldering skills required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for 100% documentation accuracy.
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions in multiple formats (written, oral, diagrams).
  • Experience in FDA-regulated medical device industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of quality systems requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and remanufacture Tosoh instruments.
  • Complete all administrative responsibilities promptly and accurately per policy.
  • Maintain 100% documentation accuracy and adhere to good documentation practices.
  • Fully comply with remanufacturing procedures and quality systems requirements.
  • Collaborate with Field Service personnel to resolve instrument issues.
  • Maintain compliance in daily work activities.
  • May require occasional business travel.
  • Support continuous improvement and training as needed.

Specific job duties are listed below;Troubleshoot, repair, and remanufacture Tosoh instruments.Complete all administrative responsibilities in a timely and accurate manner as required by company policy or as directed by management.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in order to maintain all documentation at 100% accuracy to include good documentation practices.Fully comply with all remanufacturing procedures, quality systems requirements and compliance.Collaborate with Field Service personnel in resolving instrument issues.Maintain compliance in all daily work activities.Occasional business-related travel may be required.Working ConditionsThis position requires personnel to work in a shop environment on instrumentation which may pose a biohazard risk.
