Qualifications

• ISBE Educational Interpreter Approval required.
• DOJ/FBI background check or equivalent clearance.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, real-time interpretation in classrooms, small groups, assemblies, and events.
• Adapt communication methods to match each student’s language needs and IEP accommodations.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure content is accessible and delivered effectively.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics and standards of practice.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide insights on communication access and progress.
