Job summary

Valicor in Middletown, OH is hiring for a full-time manual labor role requiring a CDL Class A and willingness to travel overnight. You will drive and operate liquid vac trucks and air movers, perform industrial cleaning tasks, and maintain equipment at multiple sites across North America.

A $4,000 sign-on bonus is offered and benefits include paid holidays and PTO. Qualified candidates will have CDL A, be able to operate blasting and cleaning systems as trained, and communicate professionally

Qualifications

• Must have a CDL Class A.
• Industrial experience preferred.
• Ability to operate high-pressured water-blaster and vacuum equipment.
• Ability to communicate with team members and on-site customer representatives.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairs.
• Willing to travel overnight for assignments.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate liquid vac trucks and air movers.
• Clean facilities with hand tools.
• Operate water blasting, ice blasting, media blasting as trained.
• Perform yard, shop, equipment maintenance and housekeeping.
• Complete site-specific documentation as assigned by crew leader.
• Ensure equipment and company property are maintained in good condition.
• Travel to job sites, including overnight assignments.

Full Time Regular Manual Labor Middletown, OH, US

Requirements:

• Must have a CDL Class A
• Industrial experience preferred
• Ability to operate high-pressured water-blaster and vacuum equipment
• Ability to communicate with team members as well as on-site customer representatives effectively and professionally
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and, as the need arises, perform minor repairs
• Must be willing to travel overnight for assignments as required
• 40 Hr. HAZWOPER Training preferred but is not required

Job Duties:

• Drive and operate liquid vac trucks and air movers
• Use manual tools (shovels, rakes, scrapers, squeegees, brooms) to clean industrial, institutional and government facilities
• As trained and certified, operate water blasting, ice blasting, media blasting and chemical cleaning systems
• Perform yard, shop, equipment maintenance and housekeeping assignments
• Complete site-specific documentation and duties as assigned by crew leader or supervisor
• Ensure equipment and company property is maintained in proper condition
• Travel as necessary to assigned job sites which will include multiple overnight assignments

Essential Physical Functions of the Job:

• Ensure that health and safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies and processes and always acting in a safe manner
• Distinguish emergency signals and instructions while on duty
• Must be able to repetitively sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and crawl
• Must be able to repeatedly lift a minimum of 40 pounds
• Must be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, cold, dusty, and wet conditions for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work in confined spaces and tight quarters
• Must be able to wear protective clothing such as respirators, safety glasses, steel toe shoes, coveralls, and hearing protection
• Operates light and heavy equipment including skid steers, forklifts, sky tracks, etc.
• Must be able to climb ladders, work from stationary platforms from elevated heights and confined spaces
• Must be capable of working extended hours and variable shifts
