Job summary

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Technician I to support tank cleaning and vacuum services at a customer site in Sinclair, WY. The role requires stamina for physically intensive work and strict adherence to safety policies.

You will monitor tanks and equipment while complying with company procedures and maintaining customer relations. This position offers competitive wages and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge in the operation of equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with various tools.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; TWIC card preferred or able to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Promote HPC-Industrial's safety, environmental and operations policies.
• Performs tasks associated with Vacuum Services and Tank Cleanings.
• Monitor tanks and equipment.
• Labor-intensive activities in all weather conditions during the shift.
• Work in confined spaces, at heights, with limited clearances.
• Wear respirator as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is looking for a Technician I to work at a customer location in Sinclair WY and to join their safety conscious team! The Technician responsibilities may include monitoring tanks, confined space entry, working at heights and working alongside various types of equipment. This is a physically intensive position. Ensures compliance with all Company policies/procedures and maintains/improves good customer relations by providing quality, timely industrial cleaning services.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Industrial setting - Refinery, Petro-Chemical, Utilities, Pulp and Paper Mills, etc.

CANDIDATE LOCATION: Billings, MT

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Promote HPC-Industrial's safety, environmental and operations policies
• Performs tasks associated with Vacuum Services and Tank Cleanings

• Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the shift
• Works in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces and at heights
• Wear respirator as needed
• Additional duties as assigned

Physical demands

• Must be able to wear protective clothing or equipment. This includes, but is not limited to Nomex coveralls, a back belt, slicker suits, rubber boots, a fresh air breathing mask and escape pack and a hard hat.
• Must be able to work under extreme climate conditions (excessive high heat index of 95+ degrees Fahrenheit, humid and subzero weather conditions) relative to geographic location.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces and dealing with heights
• Must be able to withstand exposure to dust (chemical and environmental), fumes (chemical and fluids), exhaust and highly pressurized fluids.
