Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is seeking an Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) Technician to join the project site team in New Albany, OH. You will support end-user devices, software, and collaboration tools, while aligning with security and IT standards.

Responsibilities include incident handling, device upgrades, Active Directory/SharePoint support, and involvement in network and voice endpoint deployments. A strong focus on communication and stakeholder collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Candidate should have 1–2 years in an enterprise IT role or 5–6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication, time management and stakeholder engagement are required.
• Experience with end-user computing, collaboration tools and security policies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide incident, request, and task support for end-user devices and services.
• Perform hardware, software, and OS upgrades and ensure policy compliance.
• Support video conferencing, Teams, Surface/Poly devices, and collaboration tools.
• Maintain Active Directory, SharePoint, and asset/configuration items in ServiceNow.
• Assist in project rollouts, migrations, and security remediation efforts.

Project Overview:

Bechtel is building a semiconductor manufacturing plant in New Albany, Ohio. We are partnering with the North America Building Trades Unions and suppliers to create several thousand new jobs and work with local education organizations to implement new training programs that will support the future talent pipeline. Bechtel Manufacturing & Technology, Inc. offers engineering, procurement, and construction services for customers in the semiconductor manufacturing, electric vehicle, and data center markets. Headquartered in Reston, Virginia, the M&T global business unit also includes colleagues working in Arizona, Ohio, Texas, India, and additional project locations around the world.

Job Summary:

Bechtel is seeking an Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) Technician to join the IS&T team located at the project construction site.

Major Responsibilities:

• Responsible for servicing incidents, requests, and tasks for deployed infrastructure services to end-users
• Training, problem resolution, hardware, software, and operating system upgrades for end-user computing devices (PCs as well as mobile devices)
• Follows the established technology standards, policies, support processes and security requirements
• Helps establish and monitor metrics on service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for providing end-user support for collaboration technologies including video conferencing, smart displays like Surface Hubs, Poly, Microsoft Teams
• Supports Local Area Network and Wireless Network, etc.
• Supports end user requirements associated with Active Directory and SharePoint
• Manages and maintains assets and configuration items in ServiceNow
• Performs moves, adds, and changes
• Participate in special projects, as assigned
• Participates in the rollout of new technologies, services and security remediations
• Deployment of network, routers and switches and associated patching
• Deployment and support of Teams voice and Poly video endpoints
• Develops IT reports, dashboards and automates workflows as required
• Recommends process improvement solutions
• Development of IT support guides and user training

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Requires a University Hire with 1-2 yearsof experience or 5-6 years of relevantwork experience
