Merit Landscape Solutions is seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to support installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial irrigation systems for local clients. You’ll work with high-performing crews and ensure quality results across projects.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting systems, seasonal activations, and documenting service logs. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50+ lbs are required, with backflow certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of irrigation experience, preferably commercial.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather.
• Comfort with tools, wiring, and reading site plans.
• Backflow certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems (clocks, valves, heads, pumps).
• Perform seasonal activations, winterizations, and audits.
• Track parts, materials, and service logs.
• Communicate with clients and team leads about system needs.
• Support snow operations or enhancements in off-season.
