Job summary

Mission Landscape Companies in Riverside, CA is seeking an Irrigation Technician to repair and replace irrigation systems, performing mechanical and electrical tests to ensure proper operation of controllers and components.

You will diagnose problems, map controllers, and generate accurate reports. Responsibilities include troubleshooting irrigation valves, heads, laterals, mainlines, and controllers, with after-hours support and safety as a focus.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and communicate with the manager and fellow crewmembers.
• Landscape maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
• Irrigation: 1 year (Required)
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Accurately diagnose irrigation equipment problems
• Provide accurate reports, controller mapping and chart descriptions
• Programming standard and smart controllers
• Troubleshooting and repairing irrigation valves, heads, laterals, mainline, and controllers
• After-hours emergency calls
• Familiar with drip systems
• Work safely
• Will conduct walk-through with Account Manager and fellow employees
• Other duties may be assigned
