Job summary

BrightView in Pontiac, MI is seeking an Irrigation Technician to monitor installations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure proper start-ups, winterization, and operation of irrigation systems.

We value at least 1 year of irrigation experience, a valid driver’s license, and knowledge of trenchers, multi-meters, wire locators, ditchers, and pipe sizing. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, with BrightView offering a supportive environment and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of productive experience in installation, inspection, and repair of irrigation systems.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of trenchers, multi-meters, wire locators, ditchers and pipe sizing is essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and testing new installations, troubleshoot and repair problems, observe pipe and valve placements, and evaluate start-ups, winterization and overall operation of the irrigation system.
• Conducting and recording detailed inspections and plan/execute upgrades of client systems.
