Job summary

Juniper is seeking an Irrigation Technician to maintain and repair irrigation systems for our Commercial Landscape Maintenance properties. Responsibilities include testing, troubleshooting, and repairing valves, pipes, and sprinkler heads, and operating system controllers.

Requirements include a minimum of 1 year of irrigation experience, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with conventional and two-wire systems. Spanish a plus; ability to work outdoors for long periods is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of irrigation experience including installation, inspection and repair.
• Valid driver's license required with ability to pass MVR review.
• Proficient with conventional and two-wire irrigation systems.
• Knowledge of irrigation equipment and tools (hand and power).
• Spanish language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs irrigation systems including valves, hoses, pipes, and sprinklers.
• Turns systems on/off, tests, and troubleshoots to ensure proper operation.
• Reads and interprets irrigation site maps and legends and records inspections.
• Operates timers, clocks, and controls for sprinklers and records maintenance actions.
• Assists in related landscape maintenance tasks as needed.

We are seeking an Irrigation Technician to maintain and repair systems for our Commercial Landscape Maintenance properties.Responsibilities:Maintains and repairs irrigation systems including replacing valves, fan belts, switches, and contacts.Monitors, troubleshoots, and tests irrigation systems.Turns irrigation systems on and off as designated.Repairs and replaces hoses, pipes, and numerous types of sprinkler heads and fixtures.Operates timers, clocks, and controls for sprinklers.Replaces or repairs irrigation valves.Installs or repairs irrigation lines.Conducts and records detailed inspections of irrigation systems.May assist in various maintenance activities as required.Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.Use of hand and power equipment for landscape and irrigation dutiesPerforms miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.Requirements:Minimum of 1 year of prior experience with the installation, inspection, and repair of irrigation systemsValid drivers license required with ability to clear Motor Vehicle Record reviewProficient with conventional and two-wire systemsKnowledge of irrigation equipment (hand and power tools)Landscape lighting experience is a plusAbility to read irrigation site maps and legendsSpanish a plusMust be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight)Must be able and willing to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the dayMust be able to use hand tools and power equipmentMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Obtain and maintain certifications and licenses needed to perform work in local marketAbout UsJuniper is a full-service landscape design, build, and management company servicing the Southeast.
