Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Irrigation Technician in Florida to install, test, and maintain irrigation systems including sprinklers, pumps, and water timers. You will design and troubleshoot controllers and perform trenching/installation tasks while ensuring safety and compliance with company procedures.

The role requires site assessments, equipment inspections, and coordination with supervisors to maintain records and reports of maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of PVC installation and techniques.
• Ability to operate trenching and boring equipment.
• Able to perform basic math calculations.
• Able to respond to emergency situations in a timely manner.
• Understand and use proper safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Designs, installs, troubleshoots, and repairs irrigation controllers and electrical components.
• Assists field personnel with diagnosing irrigation problems.
• Performs site assessments, inspects equipment, and maintains supplies.
• Maintains and troubleshoots irrigation mainlines and valves; repairs backflow devices.
• Trains personnel, enforces OSHA safety regulations, and maintains records of maintenance and work orders.
