Job summary
Gabriel Group in Oak Creek, WI is seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems for our landscaping projects. You will troubleshoot issues, program controllers, and ensure efficient water use to keep landscapes healthy and vibrant.
Responsibilities include repairing valves and sprinkler heads, inspecting systems for leaks, reading plans, and documenting maintenance.
Qualifications
- Experience as an Irrigation Technician or similar role.
- Knowledge of irrigation components and equipment.
- Ability to read irrigation plans and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and replacements of faulty or damaged irrigation components, including valves, pipes, fittings, and sprinkler heads.
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify leaks, clogs, or other malfunctions.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex irrigation system issues.
- Identify and resolve wiring, electrical, or hydraulic problems.
- Keep detailed records of irrigation system inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs.
- Interact professionally with clients and address any concerns or questions related to irrigation systems.
