Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC in Houston, TX is seeking an Irrigation Tech Level I to assist with routine monitoring, basic troubleshooting, and seasonal maintenance of irrigation systems. Under general supervision, you will follow established procedures to help ensure proper system operation.

Duties include monitoring and testing installations, supporting troubleshooting and repairs, and optimizing pipe/valve placements, including start-ups and winterizations.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of productive experience in irrigation system installation, inspection and repair.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Knowledge of trenchers, multi-meters, wire locators, ditchers and pipe sizing.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Ability to read site maps and legends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and test new irrigation installations.
• Support troubleshooting and repair efforts.
• Evaluate and optimize pipe and valve placements and assist with seasonal tasks like start-ups and winterizations.
• Participate in routine inspections and record findings.
• Support basic system adjustments and minor repairs.
