Job summary

Rhodes, Inc. is seeking an Irrigation Technician to perform monthly inspections and repairs on our commercial properties. You will manage time across sites and contribute to creating beautifully engaging communities.

You will develop irrigation repairs, track materials and labor, and support the Property & Services Team in meeting Rhodes’ mission to enhance community living. This role offers steady field work and opportunities to grow with the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or suitable equivalent.
• 2+ years irrigation repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Free from allergies that interfere with grounds-keeping duties.
• Available to work overtime.

Role Mission: As an Irrigation Technician at Rhodes, you will be responsible for completing irrigation inspections and repairs on our commercial properties. You will be responsible for managing your time moving from site to site to perform monthly inspections and repairs. You are part of the Property & Services Team and will have an exciting opportunity to support the accomplishment of our organizational purpose to create beautifully engaging communities.

Accountabilities:

• Monthly irrigation reports on commercial property systems
• Creating irrigation repairs as needed while keeping track of materials and labor.
• Driving irrigation repair truck
• Operate and provide maintenance to department and company equipment and machinery, hand tools and power tools as necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficient in using manual and power tools safely
• Able to operate landscaping equipment such as lawn mower, weed eater, leaf blower, shovel etc.
• Ability to follow instructions
• Proficient communication skills and ability to maintain logs and document activity
• Physically agile and dexterous

FLSA Status:

• Non-exempt

Physical Demands:

• Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling object(s) weighing up to 75 pounds. Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching. Repeated bending. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate groups equipment and tools.
