Job summary

Northwest Landscape Services in Kent, WA is seeking an Irrigation Technician to service and repair irrigation systems, perform start-up and winterization, and document system data for client accounts. Strong troubleshooting and communication with clients and teammates are essential for success.

Qualified candidates will have at least two years of commercial irrigation experience and a valid WA driver's license. BAT license is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least two years commercial irrigation experience.
• Identify system repairs and improvements.
• Troubleshoot and exercise sound decision making.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication with clients, co-workers and supervisor.
• Pull, push and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Valid Washington Driver License with a clean record.
• Backflow Assembly Tester (BAT) License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repairing and maintaining valves, tracing electrical components, install and initializing clocks and timers, locating existing zones and valves, and performing pump repairs.
• Spring evaluations and start-up.
• Winterization and blow-out.
• Mid-season inspections.
• Gather and update historical data for each account regarding water sources, point of connection and main line location, service performed and parts installed.
