Job summary

BrightView Landscapes in Ruskin, FL is seeking an Irrigation Tech Level I to assist with irrigation installations and seasonal maintenance. This entry-level role follows established procedures under supervision, performing monitoring, testing, and basic repairs.

The position requires a valid driver's license, 0–1 year experience in irrigation, and Spanish bilingual abilities. Strong outdoors work tolerance and ability to read site charts are preferred.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of productive experience in irrigation system installation, inspection and repair.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Good knowledge of trenchers, multi-meters, wire locators, ditchers and pipe sizing.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Ability to create/read site map-colored charts/legends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and test new irrigation installations.
• Support troubleshooting and repair efforts.
• Evaluate and optimize pipe and valve placements and assist with seasonal tasks (start-ups and winterizations).
• Participate in routine inspections and record findings.
• Support basic system adjustments and minor repairs.
