Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking an Irrigation Tech Level I in the San Diego area to assist with routine monitoring and seasonal maintenance of irrigation systems. The role operates under supervision and follows established procedures to ensure proper system operation.

Responsibilities include monitoring installations, supporting troubleshooting, and assisting with system start-ups, winterizations, and inspections. A driver’s license and Spanish-language ability are preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year experience in irrigation installation, inspection, and repair.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of trenchers, multi-meters, wire locators, ditchers, and pipe sizing.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Ability to read site map-colored charts/legends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and test new irrigation installations.
• Support troubleshooting and repair efforts.
• Evaluate and optimize pipe and valve placements and help with seasonal system tasks such as start-ups and winterizations.
• Participate in routine inspections and help record findings.
• Support basic system adjustments and minor repairs.
