Job summary
BrightView is seeking an Irrigation Tech I in Boston to monitor installations, perform basic troubleshooting, and conduct seasonal maintenance under supervision. You will help ensure proper system operation and support field tasks across commercial landscapes.
Ideal candidates have 0-1 year irrigation experience, a valid driver's license, and ability to read site maps. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus; join a team focused on quality and client satisfaction with comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- 0–1 year experience in installation, inspection, and repair of irrigation systems.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Knowledge of trenchers, multi-meters, wire locators, ditchers and pipe sizing is essential.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to read site map-colored charts/legends.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and test new irrigation installations.
- Support troubleshooting and repair efforts.
- Evaluate and optimize pipe and valve placements and assist with seasonal system tasks (start-ups and winterizations).
- Participate in routine inspections and help record findings.
- Assist with basic system adjustments and minor repairs.
