Job summary

BrightView is hiring an Irrigation Tech Level I in California to monitor, test, and maintain irrigation systems. Work under supervision, assist with troubleshooting, and support seasonal start-ups and winterizations on diverse landscapes.

Ideal candidates have 0-1 year irrigation experience, a valid driver’s license, and basic knowledge of trenchers, meters, locators, ditchers, and pipe sizing. Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus for onsite coordination.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of productive experience in irrigation systems installation, inspection and repair.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Knowledge of trenchers, multi-meters, wire locators and ditchers is essential.
• Bilingual in Spanish to assist diverse customers and sites.
• Ability to create and read site map-colored charts/legends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and test new irrigation installations.
• Support troubleshooting and repair efforts.
• Evaluate and optimize pipe and valve placements and assist with seasonal tasks.
• Participate in routine inspections and record findings.
• Support basic system adjustments and minor repairs.
