Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking an Irrigation Tech / Apprentice in New Jersey to monitor, diagnose and repair irrigation systems, perform inspections, and upgrade client installations with minimal supervision.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of irrigation experience, a valid driver's license, proficiency with trenchers, multi-meters, wire locators, and pipe sizing, and be bilingual in Spanish. The role requires outdoor work, physical ability, and flexibility for weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of productive experience in the installation, inspection, and repair of irrigation systems.
• A valid driver's license.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Ability to read site map-colored charts/legends.

Responsibilities

• Independently monitor and test new irrigation installations.
• Diagnose and repair complex system issues.
• Evaluate and optimize pipe and valve placements and assist with seasonal tasks such as start-ups and winterizations.
• Conduct detailed inspections, document results, and plan upgrades for client systems.
