Job summary

D&D Elite Construction in Reno-Sparks is seeking an Irrigation Technician to safeguard Northern Nevada landscapes through smarter water management. You’ll help residential and HOA systems stay efficient, safe, and reliable.

Your day starts early, visiting homes and HOA properties, diagnosing, repairing, and optimizing irrigation systems outdoors in all weather. A 1–3+ year irrigation background is preferred; a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift 50+ lbs are required.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years irrigation maintenance or landscape technician experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic skills and efficient repair execution.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor all day.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems (sprinklers, drip, valves, controllers, pressure regulation).
• Restore proper zone operation and optimize performance to reduce water waste.
• Document findings and communicate repair needs clearly.
• Work independently in the field with minimal supervision.

Your morning starts early (Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30pm) as you map out stops across Reno-Sparks. You’ll move from neighborhood homes to HOA properties, checking how each system is performing and spotting small issues before they become big ones. Between visits, you’ll adjust for changing weather and water needs, keeping efficiency top of mind. You’ll wrap up by confirming what’s been improved, noting what’s next, and heading into tomorrow with a clearer plan—and a visible community impact in every healthy, well-watered zone.
