Job summary

Hunter Industries is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop irrigation products. You will analyze, model, prototype, and document components and enclosures using CAD tools and testing methods.

The role includes ECO handling, cross‑functional coordination, and ensuring manufacturability while maintaining project documentation. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in engineering, at least two years in design engineering, and proficiency with SolidWorks, Pro/ENGINEER, and analysis tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in design engineering.
• Demonstrated competence in mechanical engineering and manufacturing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide design engineering support for existing products or development projects.
• Design and analyze injection molded plastic or die-cast components and enclosures; perform tolerance analysis.
• Develop test methods, document designs, and maintain engineering data.
• Assist in ECOs and change control processes; ensure manufacturability.
