Job summary

Juniper is seeking an Irrigation Maintenance Crew Member to maintain and repair irrigation systems for our commercial landscape maintenance properties. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing irrigation systems, including valves, sprinkler heads, and PVC plumbing, and for testing systems to ensure proper operation.

The role requires hands-on experience with irrigation systems, physical stamina to work outdoors in varied weather, and the ability to operate timers and controls.

Qualifications

• Irrigation system maintenance and repair experience required.
• Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs irrigation systems including replacing valves, sprinkler heads, and PVC plumbing.
• Monitors, troubleshoots, and tests irrigation systems.
• Repairs and replaces pipes and numerous types of sprinkler heads and fixtures.
• Operates timers, clocks, and controls for sprinklers.
• Installs or repairs irrigation lines.
• Conducts and records detailed inspections of irrigation systems.
• May assist in various maintenance activities as required.
• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Use of hand and power equipment for landscape and irrigation duties.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
