Job summary

Nouria Energy is seeking an Irrigation Specialist for Savannah, GA to maintain and install irrigation systems and landscapes across Nouria sites. The role requires hands-on operation of equipment and adherence to safety and Nouria standards.

The candidate should have 1–2 years of experience, knowledge of irrigation and horticulture, and the ability to work independently or with a team. A valid driving record is required and a company vehicle may be provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of trees, landscape plants, annuals, perennials and horticultural practices.
• Irrigation systems knowledge or experience.
• Clean driving record required.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform irrigation duties including testing and adjusting systems.
• Proficient in landscape irrigation systems and installation of materials.
• Safely operate grounds maintenance equipment and contribute to site upkeep.
• Load/unload trucks and move soil, mulch, and plants as needed.
• Inspect completed work for Nouria standards and accuracy.

Irrigation Specialist Savannah, GA

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Candidates must be able to independently carry out the duties and responsibilities listed below at a satisfactory level.

• Perform irrigation duties including but not limited to testing and adjusting irrigation systems to ensure successful operation
• Proficient in landscape irrigation systems
• Installation of required material for landscaping / irrigation
• Ability to safely cut grounds using hand, power or riding mower for trimming edges around walkways, beds, and walls. Ensuring the sites are left to the Nouria standards.
• Assist with loading and unloading work trucks/trailers during the day.
• Move and install soil, mulch, and plant materials that will enhance the landscape gardens and related area of our sites.
• Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to skid steers, back hoes, dump trailers, chainsaws, and others.
• Perform landscaping duties including but not limited to planting trees and shrubs, planting daylilies and other flowing plants, excavation, grading, site preparation, irrigation systems, seeding, mulching of beds.
• Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of vehicles, tools and equipment.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it conforms with Nouria standards.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or GED
• Knowledge of trees, landscape plants, annuals, perennials, and horticultural practices
• Irrigation systems
• Clean Driving record
• 1 - 2-year experience

JOB RELATED SKILLS

• Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team.
• Strong verbal communication and written skills.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Irrigation system knowledge 4 a plus.
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as a skid loader and snow removal equipment.
• Experience in utilizing landscape power tools, lawnmowers, leaf blowers, head trimmers, and chainsaws.
• Experience with tree removal and pruning.
• Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time.
• Ability to work after hours or weekends when deemed necessary.
• Ability to use email and internet dispatching applications currently utilized by Nouria Energy
• Comply with all company policies & procedures.
• Always wear appropriate protective equipment.
• Communicating with supervisor
