Job summary

BrightView is seeking an Irrigation Leadman in Orlando, FL to supervise field production and ensure timely repairs for irrigation systems. You will read gauges and oversee equipment maintenance while promoting safety and quality on site.

We value a strong work ethic, ability to work in extreme conditions, knowledge of blueprints, and clear communication. Spanish bilingual ability and irrigation certification are a plus to support our diverse team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in irrigation or related field.
  • Ability to read gauges related to irrigation systems.
  • Ability to load/unload trailers (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Ability to bend, stoop and twist repeatedly throughout the day

Responsibilities

  • Detecting and making necessary repairs to the irrigation system.
  • Accurately reading various gauges related to the irrigation system.

  • Operating light/heavy equipment effectively and according to all regulations.

You’d be responsible for:
  • Detecting and making necessary repairs to the irrigation system

  • Accurately reading various gauges related to the irrigation system

  • Managing employees and overseeing production in the field

  • Operating light/heavy equipment effectively and according to all regulations

  • Ensuring that equipment is maintained and managed; alert supervisors if there are any issues

  • Reporting any problems with job site or equipment immediately

You might be a good fit if you have:
  • Minimum of 2 year of experience
And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:
  • Strong work ethic

  • Knowledge of blueprints

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Bilingual (Spanish)

  • Irrigation certification

  • Ability to work in extreme conditions – temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit

  • Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time

  • Ability to load/unload trailers (up to 50 lbs.)

  • Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day

  • Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic

  • Work near or about natural bodies of water

  • Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (some overtime/weekend work required)
