Job summary

ht h companies is seeking an Ironworker to install pre-engineered metal buildings, perform connecting work, and work at elevated heights. Familiarity with basic hand signals, rigging knowledge, and safety at heights is required. Welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promotes safe workplace by participating in safety training, identifying job hazards, wearing correct PPE, and observing for oneself and others.
• Shows up on time and ready to complete work
• Follows directions of manager/lead/superintendent and clarifies responsibilities if needed
• Respects self, coworkers, managers, company, other contractors, and clients
• Takes care of company owned or rented equipment returning in like manor
• Adaptable in methods used to complete task
• Willing to go the extra mile for the team
• Motivated to learn new skills and trades
• Communicate effectively both written and verbal
• Ability to use assortment of hand tools.

Ironworker

Position overview:

The ironworker must have the ability to install pre-engineered metal building perform connecting work, and perform work at above ground elevations. Familiarity with basic hand signals and basic rigging knowledge, Safety knowledge while working at heights is required. Experience with pre-engineered buildings, pole barns, metal studs, and welding a plus.
