JE Dunn is seeking an Ironworker 2 to perform advanced structural steel tasks on diverse construction projects. Responsibilities include erecting beams and columns, welding, installing decking, and ensuring PPE and OSHA safety compliance.

Candidates should own their hand tools, follow directions, and work with foremen and leadership. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, willingness to work non-traditional hours, and strong teamwork to support project success.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to perform ironworking tasks accurately and safely.
• Strong communication, verbal and written.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work non-traditional hours.
• Experience with structural steel erection and welds.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes knowledge of ironworking practices and tools.
• Handles structural components of buildings including beams and columns.
• Assists in repairing or modifying structural steel under supervision.
• Places structural members under supervision with safe practices.
• Installs metal decking for floors and roofs.
• Welds structural components and modifies components by cutting/welding.
• Proficient in various types of welding.
