Qualifications

• 3 years work experience as a metal fabricator.
• Ability to use several fabrication tools.

Responsibilities

• Cut metal plates, angle iron, and other materials for construction projects.
• Choose materials required to build new products or repair existing ones.
• Build models and molds for casting concrete or other materials.
• Prepare metal surfaces via welding, cutting, soldering, grinding, brazing, and polishing.
• Inspect designs to ensure welding requirements are met.
• Use shaping and cutting tools to assist with welding tasks.
• Assist in production and mold fixtures.
• Use a gas torch and welder to fuse metal objects.
• Utilize welding devices to prepare items and repair alloys.
• Use hand and power tools to complete tasks.
• Weld to specifications and diagrams after analysis.
• Assemble old units and perform modifications or repairs.
