Ironer Operator – Industrial Laundry

Job summary

Vestis® is hiring for a Warehouse Associate in a busy industrial laundry facility in the Phoenix area. You will handle towels, napkins, tablecloths and aprons, feeding and staging merchandise on the ironer to minimize wrinkles and misfeeds.

Responsibilities include receiving, folding, and sorting merchandise, verifying counts, and moving carts while maintaining safety. Overtime and weekend work may be required to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow training, written and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance with flexible shift schedule.
• Warehousing experience a plus.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Stage and feed merchandise on ironer to reduce wrinkling.
• Receive and fold merchandise from ironer.
• Identify and separate items not meeting quality standards.
• Verify quantities and bundle by type; place in storage carts.
• Move full and empty carts safely.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment; follow best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
