Job summary

Sargon Masonry Construction in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Shop Welder to join our fabrication team. You will weld and fabricate structural steel and miscellaneous components, reading blueprints and shop drawings to meet project specs.

Responsibilities include MIG, Flux-Core and Stick welding, measuring and assembling parts, and maintaining a clean, safe shop. Overtime may be available; competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous welding and steel fabrication experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency with MIG and Flux-Core welding; Stick welding experience preferred.
• Experience with structural steel and miscellaneous metals.
• Ability to safely operate fabrication equipment and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• AWS certification is a plus but not required.
