Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross, GA, seeks an IRF-PAI Coordinator to support the Rehab Program Director by coordinating the Patient Assessment Instrument for inpatient rehabilitation. The role focuses on accuracy of scoring functional status and determining care needs.

You will educate staff, ensure timely PAI completion, protect patient confidentiality, and collaborate with physicians and the rehab team to optimize compliance and patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1+ year experience in RN or Rehab Therapist preferred.
• Experience with inpatient rehab and PAI systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate timely completion of the IRF-PAI for inpatient rehab patients.
• Review clinical documentation for accuracy under Rehab Physician guidance.
• Educate staff on PAI processes to ensure compliant coding.
• Ensure IRF-PAI is completed by day 4 of stay and day 5 post-discharge.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and support QA audits.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to assess patient needs.
