Job summary

Qualified Trust Company in Scottsdale, AZ is hiring a paid IRA Specialist Intern for January 2027 through April 2027. This full-time, non-exempt, hourly position requires in-office work during standard hours (8:30 am–5:00 pm), with dates negotiable.

The intern will prepare distribution packages, respond to inquiries from participants, plan sponsors, and partners, track progress, and gain familiarity with rollover IRAs and trust company functions through supervised training.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Knowledge of modern office procedures and methods including telephone communications, office systems, and record keeping.
• Working knowledge or ability to quickly grasp concepts of rollover IRAs and trust company functions.
• Knowledge of modern business communication, including style and format of letters, emails, memorandum, minutes, and reports.
• Ability to use a personal computer and proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Prepare distribution packages to account holders.
• Update account holders, TPA partners, management, and plan sponsors as necessary on requests and progress.
• Establish solid working relationships with all vendors and plan sponsors to ensure open and accurate communication.
• Answer phone calls and emails from IRA holders.
• Perform other related duties as required.
