Job summary

Argent Institutional Trust Company’s Atlanta office is seeking an IRA/Custody Support professional to handle operations and administrative tasks for the IRA and Custody lines of business. This role also serves as the front-line ambassador for the Atlanta location.

Responsibilities include mail processing, client communications, account reviews, documentation indexing, and ad hoc reporting, while delivering exceptional service to internal and external clients.

Qualifications

• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Primary administrator for incoming and outgoing daily mail for AITC Atlanta Office.
• Retrieve and distribute daily mail, including checks received.
• Process and facilitate written client communications (e.g., notices, verifications, maturity notices).
• Maintain IRA and Custody account reviews and tracking and exception logs.
• Maintain returned mail log and scan/index documents to client files.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients.
• Process contact update forms and beneficiary/broker designations.
• Assist leadership with special projects (new accounts, transfers, maintenance).
• Serve as back-up for miscellaneous processing during busy periods.
• Assist triage of Client Advocate mailbox and respond as needed.
• Provide monthly ad hoc reporting as requested by manager.
• Perform other assignments as requested by manager.
