Job summary

Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center is seeking an IR Technologist to assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional invasive procedures. This role involves performing technical patient care and supporting various imaging procedures in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS).
• Minimum of two years in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Documented competence specific to special procedures for at least two years as a radiographer.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical patient care and daily functions of the IR/SP scope of practice.
• Assist and will be cross‑trained in the Cath Lab and other areas.
• Provide health‑care services by applying X‑ray energy.
• Assist the radiologist during all interventional radiology/special procedures.

Skills

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Current CPR certificate in Basic Life Support

ACLS certification

Knowledge of sterile technique

Interpersonal skills

Education

Minimum of two years in a healthcare setting

BARR: Basic Arrhythmia Reading / Recognition
